About Southern Oil-burner Service

This is a small, family-owned business providing oil burner repair services to the residents of Cape May County.

Edward Young has been servicing oil burners since before high school, when he began helping his father after school, on weekends, and during the summers. After graduating from The College of New Jersey, Edward spent several years working in the publishing industry. However, after time in the greater Philadelphia area, he was drawn back to the familiar surroundings of Cape May County and the hands-on work he enjoys in the heating industry.

Edward rejoined his father to help run a full-service heating and air conditioning business that served hundreds of local customers. During that time, he completed several trade certification courses and dedicated himself to mastering oil burner systems.

Edward holds a National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA) Silver Certification, a recognized standard of excellence in oil burner repair. This certification requires ongoing continuing education, ensuring he stays current with the latest advancements and best practices in the oilheat industry.
