While accessing and using the Site, you may be able to order services or conduct other business with Southern Oilburner Service through the Site (the "Services"). Your use of the Site and any Services constitutes your agreement to all such terms and conditions.

Our Guarantee

Standard Service Call Warranty

We stand behind all service work performed by employees of Southern Oil-Burner Service.  In the unlikely event of our service not meeting your needs we guarantee the work we performed for 60 days from the date service is provided.  We also guarantee any parts used (except perishable parts/services including but not limited to: Oil Filters, nozzles, air filters, fuel additives, cleaning services where the space has been compromised by debris not under our control) by us during a service visit up to and including the manufacturer's warranty or 60 days, whichever is longer.

 

You never Pay Twice

In the unlikely event that the cause of the failure is not related to the repairs already paid for, we will honor the Diagnostic Fee from the original service visit for 30 days.  Parts that have been deemed unnecessary for the required repair will be credited to the price of the subsequent repair. This warranty is subject to inspection by the service manager for determination as to the status of any part being designated unnecessary, for the terms of this warranty. 

 

Terms and Conditions

1. Authorization
The customer authorizes the work described on the front of this form at the quoted price. No additional work will be performed without the customer’s approval.

2. Payment
Payment in full is due upon completion of the service call. Accepted payment methods are cash, check, or Venmo.

3. Past-Due Balances
Balances unpaid more than 30 days after the invoice date may be subject to a late charge of 2% per month, or the maximum amount permitted by law, whichever is less.

4. Returned Payments
The customer is responsible for any lawful returned-check charge, bank fee, or electronic-payment reversal fee incurred by the company.

5. Diagnostic Charges
The service-call or diagnostic charge is due whether or not the customer approves the recommended repair.

6. Additional Repairs
The quoted price covers only the work described on the front of this form. Additional defects or unforeseen conditions discovered during the repair will be brought to the customer’s attention for approval before additional work is performed.

7. Repair Warranty
Unless otherwise stated on the front of this form, replacement parts and the labor directly associated with the repair are warranted for one year from the date of service and covered by out Never Pay Twice policy. Warranty does not apply if the payment in full is outstanding or delinquent.  Warranty starts the day the work is completed regardless of the date of final payment.  This warranty does not cover normal maintenance items, including air filters, oil filters, burner nozzles, strainers, fuses, cleaning materials, or chemicals. It also does not cover failures caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, fuel contamination, freezing, flooding, electrical problems, defective chimneys or venting, customer-supplied parts, or repairs performed by others.

8. Unrelated Failures
Repair of one component does not guarantee the condition or future operation of other components. The company is not responsible for unrelated failures occurring after the service call.

9. Unsafe Equipment
The technician may shut down equipment when continued operation is considered unsafe. The company is not required to restore unsafe equipment to operation until the unsafe condition has been corrected.

10. Customer Approval
By signing the front of this form, the customer authorizes the described work and quoted price and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

Privacy Policy
We know that many visitors to our site are concerned about the information they may provide and how we may use that information. Our Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, retention and disclosure of information we gather from the Site, and is available on the Site.
 

No Solicitation

The information provided through the Site is intended solely for the general knowledge of visitors to the Site and does not constitute an offer or a solicitation of an offer for the purchase or sale of any shares or other securities of Southern Oilburner Service. Jurisdiction and Arbitration

You agree that any disputes or claims arising out of the use of the Site shall be settled by binding arbitration in Cape May County, New Jersey, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The arbitrator shall apply the laws of the state of New Jersey.
